Its fantastic for its price (beneath 15.00) and does shine little stars on the wall and ceiling to support small ones be much less afraid of the dark, I had no difficulty with power cords, and I use rechargable batteries. Its a safe small item, There are Substantially superior ones out there but who desires to spend $100 bucks or far more for a night light? Yes its plastic, Yes we had to place the small star piece on which took a second and Yes we do like it for its value and that it tends to make a dark room way much less scarely for our little ones.
