My husband and I put this fan in my son's room since we gave his room a sports theme. Looked amazing and I was in enjoy with it. Even so, his space is the hottest in the residence (and we reside in Houston), and the fan hardly put out ANY air. The baseball bats/fan blades aren't angled at all, so I assume this is element of the trouble. The poor small guy was melting in his room, so we had to get a several fan (which worked wonders, by the way). Quite disappointing!

This fan fell down on leading of my son following it was up for more than a year. While it was on the fan itself seperated from the base. I have contacted the consumer safety commission and they are investigating the fan's safety. The weight of this fan could have killed a little child.
